Living Situations

Formative Years

Grew up in a small apt on Guam in the village of Tamuning. Lived with parents of course and we all shared a room Pretty boring, sparse but neat and confortable. Had lots of neighbor kids I played with. And in fact still keep in touch with one of them.

Non Formative Years

In junior high and for the start of high school it was the same old apt stuff, just a slightly nicer bigger apartment not 5 minutes away. I did manage to sorta have my own room for a while but ended up sharing the storage room with my brother cuz he missed me.
The family finally bought a nice 3 bedroom 2.5 bath in a posh Banyan Heights neighborhood of Guam while I was in high school. While here, I mostly got my own room but I vaguely remember sharing it a lot. I did have my own private bathroom though!! yes!

College Years

I'll keep these brief since the college stories cover some of this...however lets just say, after dorms (Unit 2 Griffiths) for 2 years, 3 months next to soda hall, then 5 yrs in southside berkeley provided interesting challenges and benefits to all.

Adult Life

After college I planned on saving money to buy my own place. For a while I was bugging many many people into trying to buy a place together since I was tired of the student shithole I was still living in. I continued to be bitterly dissapointed that I could not live in the house in concord the family had bought. Finally Eric and I bought a house together in Richmond. This is where I currently live.

The house itself is very yuppie and a dream house really, but just a tad small. We have 2 master suites, 2.75 baths, nice kitchen, yard, the works. Certainly the nicest place I've ever lived in. I decorated it ultra modern and yuppie. We also have a renter (sort of) in the second master bedroom...my brother Leshang. It's in a very posh nice neighborhood, surrounded by park and water on three sides!

The next step....the dream mansion with huge estate!
